BS30 Europe Information
Dear Player and Parent
I would like to congratulate you on being selected to participate in the Blue Star 30 Elite Europe Camp to be held on June 21-23 2019 in Gran Canaria, Spain.
This special honor is being extended to only 30 players graduating in the high school class of 2022 / 2023 from around Europe. This very exclusive event is not open to the public.
The Basics
The What: Basketball camp involving testing, drills, 3×3, 5×5, BlueStar7
The Who: Top players from all over Europe with International coaches
The Where: Canterbury Academy School, Gran Canaria, Spain
The When: Camp runs Friday 21st– Sunday 23rdJune. Players arrive Thursday 20th
The Cost: Nothing. We provide Hotel, transport on the Island, food and training Clothes. Each Camper will also receive Euro100 as a reimbursement to their flight cost at camp.
Background
Blue Star is the oldest operational girls’ basketball event operator in the US, with a rich tradition of leading & supporting the girls game, Blue Star Europe established in 2011 has been helping players secure scholarships to NCAA institutions and Dan Bowmaker is recognised as the most prominent youth basketball scout based in Europe.
In 2016 the first USA based BS30 Camp was held in Chicago, Washington in 2017 , Las Vegas in 2018 and this will be our first year of both a Euro Camp and USA based camp in 2019. Some players from the European Camp may also be considered for an invite to the USA.
Our desire is to help identify the world’s best players long before they compete for their native National Teams at the u16 and u18 levels. We want to support the development of these players, whilst promoting and celebrating the dedication and hard work they have already demonstrated. To be a Blue Star 30 player is to be recognised as a Global Talent.
